TUBOD, Lanao del Norte (PIA)--The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) here handed over a plaque to the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte for having the most number of top-performing Anti-Drugs Abuse Councils (ADAC) in Northern Mindanao for the years 2019-2020.
This, after 14 municipalities in the province passed the DILG's ADAC evaluation and performance audit for 2019 and another 12 municipalities in 2020.
The municipalities with high functionality score during the ADAC performance audit are Bacolod, Baloi, Kapatagan, Salvador, Kolambogan, Poona Piagapo, Sapad, Baroy, Kauswagan, Linamon, Magsaysay, Nunungan, Matungao, Sultan Naga Dimaporo, Tagoloan, Tangcal, and Pantao Ragat.
Governor Imelda Quibranza Dimaporo commended the said municipalities and their respective chief of police for their exemplary efforts in the performance of their duties in complementing the national government's anti-illegal drugs campaign and in garnering a high functionality score during the ADAC performance audit.
"I would like to thank all the municipalities kay kung nay kaayohan ang mga munisipyo, nay madawat nga award, apil mi sa probinsiya. I would like to congratulate them also and the Chiefs of Police. Keep up the good work, " said
The governor also hopes that the municipalities would continue their programs to sustain their performance or eliminate the problem of illegal drugs which harms the youth.
The ADAC Performance Award is given to a local government unit with high ADAC functionality scores and has reduced its drug affectations as reported by the Philippine National Police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency. (APB/PIA Lanao del Norte)
