ILIGAN CITY (PIA)--The Rotary Club of Iligan Maria Cristina (RCIMC) together with its partners held a community outreach program, benefitting some 100 pupils in Dulag Elementary School in this city.

The pupils received Vitamin C with Zinc syrup and capsules good for one-month consumption, hygiene kits, slippers, rice packs with canned goods, noodles and oatmeal, Jollibee food packs and juice, and chocolates.

RCIMC president Shine Barga said they are committed to support the beneficiaries for the betterment of their lives.

“We are committed to serve lahat kahit nasaang sulok na tao [everyone no matter where the people are]. We are committed to share our blessings and change the lives of everybody that we encounter,” she said.

Barga also said that the outreach program is one way of showing their love and inspiring them to be good citizens in the future.

“For our beneficiaries, this is how we show our love for you since Valentine's day is coming. We hope that we encourage you na mag-aral nang mabuti and become good citizens para when it is your turn na magka-opportunity to help kayo na rin ang tutulong sa kapwa gaya ng pagtulong namin,” she said.
