ILIGAN CITY (PIA)--Some 45 barangay officials and purok presidents from barangays Digkilaan, Bonbonon, Mainit and Rogongon here participated in the Orientation on Electrical Safety, Connection Process and Compliance Standards of Iligan Light and Power, Inc (ILPI).
ILPI’s brought its services closer and accessible to its consumers by reaching out to them in the grassroots communities.
Welni Libredo, Purok President in Brgy. Digkilaan thanked ILPI for equipping them with knowledge on safety measures.
“Dako kaayo ni nga tabang labi na sa safety sa paggamit sa kuryente. Dako kayo ni ug tabang kay isip purok president ako mapaabot sa mga residente dito sa wala pa nasayod,” he said.
[This is a great help, especially in the safety of using electricity. This is a big help because as a purok president, I will share this knowledge to the residents.]
Libredo said that the seminar helped him realize that power outages are caused by so many factors.
