TUBOD, Lanao del Norte (PIA)--Members and officers of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) Lanao del Norte Chapter here convened for a meeting to discuss plans and highlight programs and services of the national line government agencies.
“Ang agenda includes yung presentation ng national line agencies as to their commitment sa Lanao del Norte, kung ano ang iexpect natin na pwede nilang maextend sa province, sa bawat munisipyo,” he said.
(The agenda includes the presentation of the national line agencies as to their commitment to Lanao del Norte, what they can extend to the province and each municipality.)
The Department of Health (DOH), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Labor and Employment, and Department of Environment and Natural Resources presented their programs and services implemented in various municipalities in the province.
Dr. Steffi Grace H. Enon of DOH-10 shared updates on Universal Health Care and COVID-19 vaccination and emphasized the collaboration of all local government units in improving the health system in the province.
Meanwhile, DTI Lanao del Norte Provincial Director Jane Marie Tabucan shared the programs and services implemented in the province that include shared service facilities, Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa Program, Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay, Barang Micro Business Enterprise, Bagwis Program, among others.
Gov. Imelda “Angging” Dela Cruz Quibranza also lauded the efforts of LGU Bacolod for maintaining cleanliness in the town. She also encouraged other mayors to replicate the good practices and strategies of LGU Bacolod. The Governor called on the collaboration and cooperation of all LGUs to make the province better.
Moreover, Great Man of the Universe -Philippines Ambassador EJ Malik also paid a courtesy visit to the municipal mayors attending the League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) Lanao del Norte Chapter meeting. He is the tourism consultant of Nunungan town and represented Lanao del Norte in the pageant. He will also compete in the international competition next year representing the Philippines.
