ILIGAN CITY (PIA)--The Estenzo-Comendador Memorial School in Barangay Upper Tominobo and Suarez National High School here conducted simulation exercises (SimEx) on limited face-to-face classes as part of the ongoing transition to "new normal" education. 

Estenzo-Comendador Memorial School principal Andrew Abragan shared that there are 77 students that will participate in the limited face-to-face classes in their school.

“Aduna kami 301 nga population sa learners pero ang ning-qualify lang sa atong face-to-face classes, aduna lang kitay 77 and all the teachers (10 teachers) are involved in this,” he said.

[We have a population of 301 learners but only 77 qualified in our face-to-face classes, and there are 10 teachers involved in this.]

Abragan also shared their extensive preparation in compliance with the guidelines and checklist of the Department of Education. This includes the presence of an isolation room, safety officer, entry signages, hand washing facilities, and others.  

Meanwhile, Ronillo C. Apas, Sr., the school principal of Suarez National High School said that before the conduct of the limited face-to-face classes, the vaccination status of the learners and teachers must be ensured.
