TUBOD, Lanao del Norte (PIA)--After several successful rido (family feud settlements in the past years, the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte facilitated another conflict resolution between Saranggani & Galacal clans against the Alando clan.
The said family feud settlement and reconciliation were held at the Gymnasium of Mindanao Civic Center, Tubod, on March 8, 2022.
Governor Imelda 'Angging' Quibranza Dimaporo thanked the two parties as they were about to end skirmishes for over 21 years. She also expressed her appreciation also to Mayor Motalib Dimaporo of Sultan Naga Dimaporo and Mayor Paruk U. Azis of Sapad for paving the way to make the remarkable event happen at last.
Second District Representative Congressman Abdullah Dimakuta Dimaporo stressed the importance of being together to sustain every community's stability and development, especially during adversity.
"Through this, we can not only resolve the quarrel between the family but also maintain order between Lanao del Norte and Lanao del Sur," said 1st District Representative Cong. Khalid Dimaporo.
Vice Governor Maria Cristina M. Atay, Board Member Achmad Taha, BGen Rey Alemania of the 2nd Mechanized Batallion, Col. Julius Librada of the 5th Mechanized Batallion, PCol Isaias Bacurnay Jr. Provincial Director of LDN-PNP, and DILG Provincial Director Bruce Colao also witnessed the settlement.
