ILIGAN CITY (PIA)-- Gibida sa trainees sa Technical Education and Skills Sevelopment Authority - Lanao del Norte ang ilang nagkadaiyang kahanas atol sa gipahigayon nga Provincial Skills Competition.
Tumong sa kompetisyon nga maila ang abilidad sa young- skilled workers ug graduates sa technical-vocational schools sa probinsya.
Kwarentay-uno ka mga competitor gikan sa Technical-Vocational Schools ug Training Centers sa lungsod sa Iligan ug Lanao del Norte ang miapil sa maong kompetisyon alang sa bakery, cookery, electrical installation, welding, feeds formulation ug uban pa.
“Napakalaking opportunity ito sa kanila especially sa mga graduates natin. This will be a showcase not only to tesda officials but more importantly to prospective employers. It’s only through this competition na nakikita nila yung the best of the best talaga," sumala ni Ashary Banto, regional director sa TESDA 10.
Ang mga mudaog, mao ang magrepresenta sa probinsya sa Regional Skills Competition. Sunod nga level niini ang Philippine National Skills Competition, Association of Southeast Asian Nations ug ang World Skills Competition.
“It’s one way of telling the world, telling the public na TVET really works especially in Lanao del Norte. It can contribute not only to food production and sustainability but more importantly sa employability," dungang ni Banto.
Ang paghimo sa kompetisyon, subay sa Section 30 sa Republic Act 7796 o ang TESDA Act of 1994 nga nagmandong kinahanglan ang magpahigayon og annual skills olympics aron mapakusog ang skills development sa nasud.
Samtang, duna sab gimuntar nga bazaar kung diin gibida ang mga produktong nahimo pinaagi sa tabang sa agricultural trainings. (LELA/PIA-10-Lanao del Norte)
