ILIGAN CITY (PIA)--Patients with chronic kidney disease can avail free hemodialysis at Gregorio T. Lluch Memorial Hospital (GTLMH) through the Malasakit Center.
Unit coordinator of GTLMH’s Hemodialysis Unit, Annamae Pretzel B. Adamat said that patients will be evaluated and referred to the Malasakit Center.
“Sa atoang hospital setting sa atong government, they are so very blessed because wala silay ginabayran maskig single peso sa ilang treatment ug free sa maintenance na injections,” she said.
[In our government hospital setting, they are so very blessed because they do not pay a single peso for their treatment and maintenance injections are free.]
GTMLH has nine hemodialysis machines provided by the Iligan City government. The Department of Health also gave oxygen concentrator patient monitors.
